We realize that long distance drivers aren’t (intentionally and unintentionally) aware about their health or wellness. Some of the intentional excuses are that they fear losing their job if their employer knows about their health issues. Others claim what they don’t know won’t hurt them.

Changing the culture of long distance drivers has been a rewarding challenge to overcome. We have worked with Senior Management Teams at various companies to encourage positive behavior changes for the company and its drivers.

Our Wellness Center focuses on both communicable and non-communicable diseases that we have witnessed to be on the rise among the drivers we have interacted with. According to the Ministry of Health (Kenya), non-communicable diseases account for 27% of the nation’s total deaths and over 50% of total hospital admissions in Kenya.

The following are the health concerns that we focus on:

  • Covid-19
  • Diabetes
  • Hypertension
  • Mental Health
  • Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
  • HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases
  • Vision and Hearing
